One-on-One Private Time
Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica
Opportunities are available for you to come to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica – the Caribbean side – for 3, 5 or 7 days of one-on-one intensive ceremonial, healing, training and/or mentoring work with me, Jade Grigori. Your time with me will be just you and I. This affords us the time to delve in as deeply as required to bring about the fulfillment of your Intention.
Lodging: You can either stay in my rustic Tico style house, with a private bedroom and a shared bathroom (at no extra cost), or rent a room at a nearby hotel (at your own expense).
Meals: Sometimes I will cook for the both of us, sometimes we will go out to eat at the many options available (vegan, Italian, Tico, seafood, pizza, etc). Papayas, mangoes, pineapple, bananas and a bunch of fruit you never heard of grows prolifically here, and is available on most street corners for very little money.
Location: Puerto Viejo is a Caribbean coastal town comprised of a diverse community of locals: Ticos (that is what Costa Ricans call themselves), Afro-Caribés (a strong culture of African/Jamaican descendants) and the BriBri (the indigenous population of the area) as well as a Latino expat community of Brazilians, Colombians, Argentinians, Venezuelans, Chileans, Nicaraguans, Panamanians and more. Only then are there gringo expats (mostly Italians, Germans and other Europeans, and last in number, the North Americans).
Natural Terrain: This is a region where the mountains (Talamanca Mts) meet the sea. A half-mile deep strip of flat beach side is quickly engulfed by dense tropical rain forest. Beaches? Playa Negra (great for swimming, renowned for its healing black sands), el Chino (family friendly wading and tide pools), Salsa Brava (reputed to be the second best surfing in the world), Playa Cocles (sunbathing, swimming, surfing), Punta Uva (snorkeling, swimming), Manzanillo (the End of the Road. Literally. Nothing beyond it but jungle and somewhere out there, Panama).
Wildlife: Lots of it. Sloths, monkeys, vibrantly colored birds, frogs… and snakes. But mostly in the jungle. However, the Jaguar Rescue Center is a wonderful place to visit to see all the animals safely. They rehabilitate injured animals and release them back to the wild. BTW, zoos are illegal in Costa Rica. How cool is that?! Standing militaries are also illegal, for the past 70 years, by consensus.
We can avail ourselves of any and all these places, if you wish. Oh, did I mention chocolate? This area is a thriving boutique cacao growers wonderland. We can visit a cacao farm, or you can just avail yourself of a variety of chocolates at the Saturday Farmers Market or the local shops.
Getting Around: Bicycles can be rented all over town. And/or we walk. Taxis are there for longer ventures or night-time activities.
Shamanic Activities: But really, you are coming to spend time with me to engage in Shamanic healings (Soul Retrievals, Spiritual Parasite Removal, Soul Cleansing, etc) or personalized instruction on integrating Shamanic Precepts and Knowledge into your life and ongoing practice, as well as having the chance to just pick my brain (I call that mentoring). At times this will be done in a formal ceremonial context. At other times it is informal… as we walk, sitting on my deck chatting, over a cup of coffee. One-on-One. No relevant topic is off limits.
